I decided to blog about my running experiences. Reading my friends running blog made me want to start my own. It's a great way to keep up with all my running adventures and connect with other runners. I have always been a runner. In high school I ran track and cross country. After high school I ran to stay in shape. My first half marathon was in April 2006. I ran Big D Half Marathon. It was a great experience. The feeling that I get when I am running is amazing. Only runners know what that feeling is. I have 2 boys and I am married to my best friend. My family is my number one fan. They encourage me daily. I look forward to blogging as I continue to run!!!
Yay for starting a running blog! I really wish I had started mine when I started running (like when I couldn't run half a mile at 4.3mph on the treadmill!) and I wish you had started when you started training for your marathon. I'm going to need your advice when I decide to run one!
ReplyDeleteI started reading and commenting on other running blogs and a couple of girls come back to read mine regularly. If I decide to run the Rock n Roll 1/2 in St. Louis I'm going to meet one of them because she'll be running, too. So they may not be local, but you'll meet other runners through blogging.
